I am Agnė, a new Brand Ambassador for the German-Baltic Future Foundation :). I come from a small Lithuanian town, however, now I call two more places my home: I am studying International Relations and European Politics in Brno, the Czech Republic, and am currently doing a study exchange in Tokyo. I have actively participated in various German-Baltic network events as a Youth Ambassador and Young Reporter because I am interested in politics, German-Baltic relations, and youth engagement, and the community is lovely. My deep interest lies in journalism, so I have a background in this field for five years. I have been a journalist for multiple local and international youth portals, covering personal stories, European-level events, and news. As my focus has shifted to international relations, I have recently become more engaged in this field with global projects. My hobbies are travelling, exploring new cultures, and meeting different people, and I am also a Eurovision freak!

Hello! I’m Andrii Prylutskyi, an LL.M. candidate in European & Transnational IP/IT Law at the University of Göttingen and an M.Sc. candidate in International Relations at the Ukrainian Free University (UFU). My interests sit at the intersection of EU IP/IT law (GDPR, AI Act) and public international law. Professionally, I’ve worked as a Student Assistant at Göttingen, as a Legal Counsel in Kyiv, and earlier as an Assistant to the Consul General of Ukraine in Munich. I was awarded the Lower Saxony State Scholarship for academic excellence and community engagement. In student leadership, I was elected to the UFU Student Council and served as Head of the Scientific Student Society, where I co-founded the society, organized student conferences in 2023–2024, co-hosted a youth scientific forum with partners, and coordinated grant-related student initiatives. I’m also active in ELSA and the European Democracy Youth Network, and I now serve as an ambassador of the German-Baltic Future Foundation to help strengthen German-Baltic ties through education, exchange, and youth networks.

My name is Daniels, I am 19 years old and come from Riga, Latvia. I am currently studying international relations at Sciences Po, University of Strasbourg, and doing an internship at the European Council for the Latvian delegation.

I got my Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications at the University of Tartu. Right now I am continuing my studies at the same university, pursuing a Master's Degree in European Studies. I really enjoy writing and creating social media content. I like to read books and learn foreign languages. Right now I speak four languages at a fluent level. By the end of my term as an ambassador I'm hoping to add German to the list. In general, I love learning about history, politics, and culture of different countries and nations. I believe my term as an ambassador will provide many excellent opportunities to do that by connecting with different people. I also enjoy playing board games, cooking, and spending time with friends when I'm free.

Hey everyone, my name is David Yildirim, I'm 24 years old and currently studying Political Science in a Master's program at the University of Göttingen. Alongside my studies, I’m actively engaged in various fields related to political education, democratic participation, and civic engagement. My work often focuses on empowering young people to take part in democratic processes and critically engage with social and political issues. I work on projects that encourage civic engagement and support young people in becoming more politically aware and active. I’m particularly interested in how democratic values can be strengthened through education and dialogue. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, doing sports, and traveling the world:)

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication, with a minor in Estonian Philology. My studies focused on media analysis, political communication, and intercultural aspects of language and society. My bachelor's thesis examines the changes in Vladimir Putin's rhetoric in his Victory Day speeches during his five terms in office in the context of past events, the political situation and socio-cultural factors (for those interested: https://hdl.handle.net/10062/111445). As a hobby, I am interested in the process of creating visual content (I am mainly attracted to video editing). I do this exclusively at the request of my friends and acquaintances; I rarely create anything from scratch myself. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV series and playing video games. If you are a fan of The Witcher (the book or game universe), we will quickly find common ground. If you have also suffered moral damage from the Netflix series based on this universe, we can cry together over a cup of coffee or chamomile tea.

I was born into a German community abroad. I studied visual arts at the Dresden Art Academy and am a passionate historical researcher and forensic archaeologist. Recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium - scholarship 2024 and of the Ukrainian volunteer medal 2025. Currently working on Ukrainian & Baltic cultural and artistic projects & cooperations.

Hi! My name is Indira Pabst. I am currently in my third year of the binational BSc program "Public Governance across Borders", offered by the University of Münster in Germany and the University of Twente in the Netherlands. At the moment, I am living in Riga, as I am spending my Erasmus semester abroad at the University of Latvia. I enjoy it a lot! In my free time, I love dancing, exploring different cultures, learning languages, and spending lots of time with other people. Since I also consider politics one of my major interests, I am especially delighted that, through my new role as a Brand Ambassador of the German-Baltic Future Foundation, I can contribute to strengthening democratic values and enabling an exchange and mutual understanding among young adults.

Hello my name is Jonas, I’m a student in Lithuania and I am currently in 10th grade. .

I have one parent from Finland, another from Germany, and spent many formative years of my adolescence in African countries. In Zambia, I finished high school with an IB Diploma. The term "third-culture-kid" captures my experience best and I see myself as a global citizen who wants to unite diverse actors to tackle shared issues together. I did an undergraduate degree in "Cultural Studies" at the University of Leipzig and gathered working experience in international insitutions and sustainable development. I have a passion for social innovation, which I followed at Social Entrepreneurship Akademie (SEA) in Munich and during the ASA-program at Action Lab for Development (ACTLAB) in Cameroon. After this, I sought out a larger institituion, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), to support innovative projects and private-public partnerships. When I received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, I went to a great academic journey through four European countries and graduated with a M.Sc. in "Transition, Innovation and Sustainability Environments". For my thesis, I developed an interventionist project tackling social cohesion in Georgia, and after receiving several grants, have been managing it for two years now. With 32 participants, the "Aligned Freedom Project" explores personal definitions of freedom and how these align or contrast across Georgian and Russian perspectives. We are currently planning our final exhibition in Tbilisi - before bringing it over to European countries and advocate for shared, democratic values. Beyond this, I am an artist mainly involved with analog photography and writing. I love to read. I love dogs so much. I also love trains: There is one 32h overnight train from Ankara to Kars - I've taken it twice. I love being outside and staying fit: Running, bouldering, or just climbing on things, you name it. I stand in for freedom, social justice, and call out BS, when I witness it. I hate the way individual liberties are currently lost to autocratic rulers and love to do something against it.

Hello! My name is Leonard and I am 22 years old. I recently completed my Franco-German bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and I am particularly interested in the intersections of politics, technology, and international cooperation. I plan to further deepen my knowledge in these areas in the near future. Aside from academics, my favorite sports include Tennis, Football, and Sprinting. I am also deeply passionate about space exploration.

My name is Liisa Loreena, I am 18 years old, come from southern Estonia and am currently in my final year of secondary school. I have been involved in youth politics since I was 13, starting at the local level and progressing to national structures. These experiences have had a decisive influence on my interest in politics, the rights and opportunities of young people, and their inspiration. In addition to politics, I am passionate about culture. I sing in a choir, act in plays and love literature. I am fascinated by museums and the preservation of traditions, as well as learning new languages – especially German, which I would very much like to continue studying. Culture is a matter close to my heart, which is why I often say: ‘How do you find the way to my heart? Take me to the theatre, be cultured and appreciate tea with honey.’ I am convinced that young people should be active, express their opinions and stand up for their rights – all in an environment of openness, warmth and mutual respect.

I'm a student currently in my last year of secondary school, my passions are mostly in the humanities field: history, languages, creative writing and philosophy. I have taken a liking to painting and amateur radio in my spare time. I'm curious about the world and love to meet new people and travel.

Hi! I’m Mariam Owusu, a law student pursuing a dual degree (DFM) at the University of Cologne and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. My studies allow me to explore both German and French legal systems, deepening my understanding of law from an international and comparative perspective. Before beginning my studies, I was an active member of my hometown’s Youth Council, where I contributed to community initiatives and youth engagement projects. Outside of academics, I love spending time reading and visiting museums, where I find inspiration in history, culture, and art.

My name is Nino Gomurashvili, and I am a PhD candidate in Political Science in tybilisi state university. I currently serve as an invited lecturer at Tbilisi State University (TSU) and at the Georgian National University (SEU). Alongside my academic work, I actively collaborate with NGOs on projects focused on democracy, governance, and civic engagement. These roles allow me to combine teaching, research, and practical engagement in ways that strengthen both my academic and professional contributions. Beyond work, I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, and supporting initiatives that foster social inclusion and dialogue.

My name is Ognjen Radišić and I come from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have an MA in International Relations and a BA in Political Science from the University of Banja Luka. I am an intern at the Department for Local Economic Development and EU Integration at the Local Administration of the City of Teslić, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Alongside this, I was a member of a local youth NGO working in the field of youth activism, informal education, and culture. Cycling is probably my favorite hobby. I am interested in international relations and topics concerning energy security, conflicts, multilateralism, and, as of recent, memory politics.

Hi, I’m Oleksandra Frankevych, a student and youth coordinator at AIESEC Latvia. I’m also involved in Latvian-Ukrainian initiatives that foster cultural and historical exchange among young people.

My name is Patriks Strazds, and I’m a student and competitive rower from Latvia. I’m currently pursuing my education while balancing a demanding athletic schedule, as I train and compete at both national and international rowing events. My studies are focused on economics and social sciences, which allow me to understand how people, systems, and motivation interact — something I also apply to sports and personal development. Outside academics and rowing, I’m passionate about entrepreneurship, creativity, and content creation. I enjoy developing new projects and I’m especially passionate about meeting new people! I also like sharing my adventures, stories and insights on social media, aiming to inspire others to challenge themselves and grow.

Hello, I am Peter and I am studying for a BSc in Physics at the University of Bonn. I have lived in the USA, the Netherlands, Russia and Germany. I speak five languages: English, Russian, Dutch, German and Ukrainian. The only American part of me is my passport, as both my parents are from Eastern Europe and my roots lie deeper there. I am currently a member of the Ukrainian student organisation at my university. This organisation helps to raise awareness of the culture and the war and collects donations for specific charities in Ukraine, such as the construction of an underground classroom in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. I am a passionate supporter of Ukraine and Europe. As for my hobbies, I am a great volleyball player and know quite a bit about mixology.

Hi! I’m Rebecca Neumeier. I did a three-year apprenticeship as an industrial firefighter in Germany and then worked for a few years in my company’s fire brigade and security control center. Right now, I’m studying Rescue Engineering in Augsburg. Last year, I had the chance to live in the U.S. for one year on a full scholarship from the German Bundestag — the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange program. I worked in local government there and got to experience American culture from the inside, which was amazing.

Hi, my name is Tomas. I’m an 18-year-old Lithuanian from Vilnius, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Physics at the University of Luxembourg. Alongside my scientific studies, I actively work to strengthen German-Lithuanian relations and to promote democratic values, technological competitiveness, security, and European cooperation through my involvement with the DBJW.

I am a Master’s student in International Affairs at the Hertie School, specializing in International Security. With a background in politics, business, and international law, and professional experience in public relations, cultural diplomacy, and anti-corruption initiatives, my work focuses on understanding how conventional and hybrid threats challenge contemporary democracies.
